Miami Valley Urban League Responds to Good Samaritan Hospital Federal Investigation

MVUL requests Premier Health leave buildings intact during federal investigation.

“In light of the recently announced federal investigation of the civil rights complaint that was filed against Premier Health for its closing of Good Samaritan hospital, theMiami Valley Urban League calls on Premier to commit to not demolish or disable the Good Samaritan hospital campus until the investigation and all legal proceedings are complete. In making this commitment, Premier will show it is acting in good faith to assess all community needs, including health care.” - Miami Valley Urban League
The Dayton Urban League - chartered in 1947 and the Urban League of Greater
Cincinnati – chartered in 1949 were formally combined into the Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio (ULGSO) in 2013. ULGSO serves people in the following areas: Cincinnati and Dayton, the northern most sections of Boone, Kenton and Campbell Counties in Kentucky, and Ohio counties of Butler, Warren, Clermont, Montgomery, Greene, Preble, Miami, Hamilton and Darke.
