The African American Leadership Development Program is the longest running program of the Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio. For nearly three decades, this immersive civic learning program has provided a rare opportunity for senior level African American leaders to refine their professional skills. AALDP participants work together to discover themselves, delve into critical community issues, and explore lessons in leadership. AALDP has graduated close to 1,000 leaders.

Class sessions take place on the first Friday of the month from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The class sessions that are not scheduled for the first Friday of the month are listed on the schedule below.


All sessions will take place in-person.

Tuition

This premier professional development opportunity costs $4,250 per participant. Tuition includes all materials, program meals, transportation, and excursion costs. Tuition is non-refundable.


Application

Applications are due on Friday, April 5, 2024. An application is considered complete once the online application is submitted and a reference form has been received. Decision notification emails will be sent in June.
