Our spaces are available to rent for business events, meetings, and private social gatherings. We offer four unique spaces in two buildings right in the heart of Avondale in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Located at 3458 Reading Road, our headquarter building offers two spaces that are perfect for meetings and small private gatherings.
Our Headquarters Board Room is an intimate space that can sit up to 16 people around the board room table. The space features Wi-Fi, a smartboard, and a TV screen for presentations. Additionally, the space is equipped with a small kitchenette with a refrigerator and counter space. Our board room is the ideal space for small business meetings.

The Headquarters Board Room is available Monday – Friday, 8am to 8pm and Saturday, 8am – 4pm. All pricing is based on a four-hour minimum rental time.
PRICING
The Community Room is a large, versatile space that can be used for meetings, private gatherings, and trainings. The Community Room seats a maximum of 100 people in theater set up and maximum 50 people in classroom set up. This space features wifi, a smart board for presentations and other AV capabilities.

Located at 3539 Reading Road, Suite 100, just one block north of our Headquarters building, the Holloman Center for Social Justice is a new state-of-the art facility which opened its physical doors in 2023. The Holloman Center for Social Justice offers two event spaces.
This contemporary space can seat a maximum of 24 people and is ideal for forums, meetings, and presentations. The Impact Board room is equipped with Wi-Fi, a TV screen for presentations, and virtual meeting hosting capabilities.

The Impact Board Room is available Monday – Thursday, 8am to 8pm and Friday and Saturday, 8am – 10pm. All pricing is based on a four-hour minimum rental time.
PRICING
The Convening Hall can host up to 150 people with roundtables or 200 people theater-style, perfect for professional or personal events. The Convening Hall serves as a rotating gallery of local Black artists and features a foyer (adjacent to the Convening Hall) that can be used for additional event space. The foyer area can hold up to 100 people. The Convening Hall is equipped with Wi-Fi, TV screens for presentations, and other audio-visual capabilities.

Supplies and Special Equipment
Depending on your event, additional fees may apply. Your event specialist will contact you about any additional fees.
The primary contact (person signing the reservation contract) must be at least 21 years of age and present on-site throughout the entire rental period. ULGSO reserves the right to approve or deny all rental requests. Any event that potentially could harm the public image of ULGSO or disrupt business operations will not be approved.
Complete the inquiry form. An event specialist will reach out to you within two business days. To reserve your event date, a 50% deposit of the total rental fee is due, along with a signed contract. Final payment must be made within thirty (30) business days before the event date. Payment must be made by credit card or electronic check. Cash payments are not accepted. Credit card payments can be made electronically. The customer is also required to purchase a certificate of insurance for their event. The certificate of insurance must be sent to your event specialist before your event date.
All spaces are rented for a minimum of 4 hours. Any time beyond the 4-hour minimum will be charged at an hourly rate. Each event includes one hour before the event start time and one hour after for set up and breakdown.
Payment in full is required for any event reserved within 30 calendar days. A 50% deposit is due upon signing the rental contract to reserve the space and the date. The remaining balance is due 30 calendar days before the event date.
Cancellations made 31 calendar days or more will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 30 to 15 calendar days will receive a 50% refund on the total money paid. Cancellations made 14 calendar days or less will not receive a refund.
Requests to change the time or date of the reservation must be submitted in writing. Approval is subject to facility and staffing availability.
ULGSO reserves the right to cancel any reservation if the facility becomes unsafe for the intended use. For example, natural disasters, or public health and safety concerns.
Yes! Decorating is permitted during the reservation time and must be removed by the end of the reservation. Please see our guidelines below.

Due to space limitations, deliveries, and drop-offs must be scheduled during the reservation time unless otherwise approved by your event specialist.
The renter is responsible for take-down and clean up, including rearranging tables and chairs. All customers are required to complete a Facilities Inspection Checklist by the end of the reservation.
The Customer is required to place a credit card on file. It is held for payment, overtime charges, incidentals, and any additional charges or damages to the event space.
No. Flammable material is not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to, flaming foods, fireworks, grills, open flames, etc.
Fuel canisters for warming food are permitted.
Kitchen amenities vary between facilities. Please contact your event specialist for details. The use of kitchen amenities must be approved during your reservation process. Customers are responsible for the care and cleaning of any kitchen equipment usage.
Serving alcohol is permitted in the following spaces: Convening Hall and Community Room. The sale of alcohol during the reservation is not permitted. You are responsible for the conduct and behavior of your guests. Underage drinking is strictly prohibited.
Security is required for all events in which alcohol is served.
