COVID - 19 Update

Living and thriving with COVID-19 will take all of us to work together. This means getting vaccinated to avoid getting ill and encouraging friends, family, and loved ones to educate themselves about the variants, boosters, and ways to stay safe.

Health

We are entering our third fall living with COVID-19. The introduction of vaccines has changed the way we live with COVID and how badly many of us experience the virus, but it is still a threat.

Throughout this summer, over 30,000 people were hospitalized per day with COVID symptoms, most of whom were members of our community and unvaccinated.

New variants continue to evolve and interrupt our work lives, our ability to spend time with loved ones, and our children’s time back in school.

Living and thriving with COVID-19 will take all of us to work together. This means getting vaccinated to avoid getting ill and encouraging friends, family, and loved ones to educate themselves about the variants, boosters, and ways to stay safe.

Tips to stay safe:

  • Do your research, learn your options, and get vaccinated
  • Stay up-to-date on COVID-19 boosters
  • Wear a mask around others
  • Keep your hands clean
  • Get tested if you’re feeling sick or returning from densely populated spaces and events
  • Isolate for 5 days if you test positive
