About Urban Tech Collective

Urban Tech Collective (formerly Women in Tech) is the next evolution of our tech training program—now an inclusive initiative open to all learners. This year, Urban Tech Collective will move from a traditional cohort schedule to rolling admissions, with monthly enrollment opportunities instead of fixed start dates.

Flexible rolling admissions and self-paced online learning

With rolling admissions, participants can start when they are ready. The program is delivered through self-directed online learning completed over six months, including a midpoint check-in to support accountability, confirm progress, and help participants stay on track toward certification.

Bridging the digital divide through tech skills, mentorship, and career readiness

Urban Tech Collective is committed to bridging the digital skill divide by expanding access to in-demand technology skills, professional development, and mentorship, especially for individuals who may not otherwise have access to tech training and career pathways. Our goal is to help participants build confidence, earn industry-recognized credentials, and pursue technology-driven careers with greater equity and opportunity.

Graduation and certification recognition

Participants who complete the program will be celebrated at a graduation recognition event, honoring the achievement of earning a certification and celebrating milestones that open doors to possibilities in the tech industry.
