Community Partnering Center

Created in 2002 as a result of the historic Collaborative Agreement, the Community Police Partnering Center was hosted by the Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio. In 2013, ULGSO committed to continuing and supporting the important work and success of those early efforts which has now become the Community Partnering Center (CPC). The Community Partnering Center builds community capacity to address issues of crime, disorder and quality of life in Greater Cincinnati neighborhoods. CPC works with community residents and stakeholders, including the Cincinnati Police Department to create safer neighborhoods. CPC focuses on prevention to discourage violence by identifying conditions that lead to violence, addressing them & garnering community support to create a safer neighborhood. CPC also focuses on individuals participating in activities that might result in them becoming victims or perpetrators of violence.
