The Urban Expungement Program

Initially launched in 2024, the Urban Expungement Program assists individuals in removing barriers to employment, housing, education, and entrepreneurship by providing free legal support and record-clearing assistance for eligible cases. Delivered in partnership with the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office, the Ohio Justice Bus, and the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts Help Center, participants receive legal record reviews, support with paperwork and court filings, payments toward eligible fees and fines, transportation assistance, career pathway resources, and entrepreneurship support.
