The Urban League’s Ohio Career Launch WIOA Youth Program prepares out-of-school youth for real careers with paid work experience, skills training, and the support to remove barriers standing in your way.

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funds programs that help young adults gain the skills and experience needed to launch meaningful careers.
Through the Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio's CCMEP program — in partnership with Ohio Job & Family Services — we connect out-of-school youth ages 16–24 with paid work experience, vocational training, and wraparound support to clear the road ahead.
Our goal: prepare every participant for secondary or post-secondary education, help them earn credentials, and secure employment with real career growth potential.
Unlock your potential with real-world work experience and the skills training to put you on a career pathway — while getting paid along the way.
Get hands-on experience in a professional environment and step into a hiring pipeline that connects you to real part-time and full-time opportunities.
Direct access to hiring managers from companies across the Cincinnati metro area
Job opportunities across multiple industries, including healthcare, technology, trades, retail, finance, and more
A welcoming, professional environment designed to help you put your best foot forward
WIOA programs are designed for out-of-school youth ages 16–24 who are low-income and face one or more of the barriers listed here. If that's you — or someone you know — we want to hear from you.
Age Requirement: All applicants must be out-of-school youth between the ages of 16 and 24. Programs are funded through Ohio Job & Family Services in partnership with the Urban League CCMEP.
